Some Very Good Days

These have been some very good days and nights since Kirby has been home. She is walking in the hood and enjoying the local restaurants and coffee houses. She didn’t want to blog you down at your computers when you should be outside enjoying the beautiful weather like she is.

Many of you have said things like you are in our thoughts and prayers. Kirby wanted to share one of her favorite prayers with you. It is from On the Doorposts of your House, p.159

ba-ruch a-ta Adonai,
ro-fei ha-cho-lim

We praise You, the Source of healing.

Also thank you, thank you to all of the crane makers and crane stringers, the cranes are beautiful and filling our house with your good energy.

p.s. the hair thing has started.

This is such great news – and how fortunate that the weather is cooperating so that you can take those walks around the neighborhood! I’m continuing to recover from being sick, and still on antibiotics, so will continue sending you virtual hugs and positive energy well wishes until I’m free and clear.

Until then, I’ll add a healing prayer from Marcia Falk’s Book of Blessings …
Kirby, may you have comfort and relief
in the healing of body and mind,
and may you return in time
to health and wholeness and strength.

    Y’hi ratzon shetachlim uvimheyrah tizkeh
    lirfu’at hanefesh v’lirfu’at haguf,
    r’fu’ah sh’leymah

    love, Jan

    Hi Kirby,

Bruce and I are so glad that you are home! We’re late to find out all the news, but now that we’re onto your blog, we’ll know much more about what is going on. And we’ll hope to see you in the neighborhood, or even make an appointment to stop by.

    Much love!

KIrby – I just heard of your illness, from Barbara Diskin. I too am glad that you are home and able to get out some. I do think that I may have seen you at Java on Saturday, but didn’t really think it could be you, as I didn’t know you were around; I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers and we al ( Sarah included)l send you our best wishes. I will try to stop by some day soon. Meanwhile – all the best. Deborah

I have one blue hat almost done. I’ll sanitize it and get it over to you. I still have cold that developed into sinus infection. I have more blue and purple yarn that Mark picked out in Switzerland. Anyone else interested in making soft hats?

Kirby, so glad to hear that you are enjoying home and being outside!! We took a page from your book (a note from your blog?) and made sure to get out this weekend to for some apple picking! Thanks for reminding us to enjoy the weather! ❤
